During Christmas break Monica and I decided to have some fun, save some money, and avoid the crazy shopping scene. This plan turned into two homeade skirts!
Fun: CHECK. The dining room turned into a brightly lit, music filled sewing nook for a few evenings. And some Canadian trivia cards came in handy during our down time.
Save Money: CHECK.
Fabric- $20
My skirt (the blue one) had a black liner0 $3
Ribbed fabric at the top- $5
Now where can you buy a unique skirt with an uneven hem for less than $28?
Avoid the mall: CHECK. Fabricland certainly doesn't count as a mall.
